My grandfather Jorge always loves to order from here. The food has always been amazing for the 6 decades he's lived in the lower east side. We still eat...

Found this gem through TikTok. The dominicano sandwich is delicious and worth the hype. Savory and sweet. The chicharrones were crispy and warm. Mofongo...

Got this delivered for me and my two friends. I loveddd all the sides and my friends said they enjoyed the bistec salteado. Great plantains and yellow rice....

Good food for a decent price. Tradional breakfasts here. Very well prepared and the service is excellent. I don't think I ever had corn pancakes before which I find delicious. We weren't the biggest fans of the smashed plantains. Kind of grits but made with green plantains. Overall a good eating experience.

Good food a reasonable price. My colleague ordered traditional Dominican food, which they loved, and I went for the more adventurous side and got a secret Dominican Cuban sandwich. The setup feels more for dining in than ordering out. If you are in a rush, I would recommend ordering in advance as the food takes some time to come out.

This is the perfect example of a hole in the wall Dominican Restaurant. The whole ambiance is rowdy with a sense of familiarity and good food! We got a service of free buttered bread that was a bit too toasted but good (though I'm biased to anything bread related lol), I had the pork mofongo that lacked a bit of seasoning while my fiancé had the Cuban Sandwich that was really delicious and came with a bit of fries so we also got a side of tostones that to us (me being PuertoRican) were a bit too thick and somewhat overcooked. I also got the Dominican sandwich which I will say was the best thing I had from them and will definitely get again on another time around. I might give them a second chance just to try other food from their menu in the hopes of finding some redemption. PD: It's New York so Parking SUCKS around this area but it's easily accessible by Subway!

Have been going to this restaurant for over 30 years. Food is great, staff is efficient and friendly. My last visit I had Mangu with everything. Hit the spot .

Young lady at the bar is friendly but the lady who served us was very rude. We’ve been here for a couple times and the only time food was great is the very first time with beef stew, every other time we tried was so disappointed. Second time ordered beef stew with yellow rice, she brought out white rice which is super dry and hard and no flavor like they’ve been leaving it for more than one day. Beef was dry. We also ordered the fish but it was too salty. Food quality is not consistent. One time we came to pick up a to-go order and we decided to sit down to share another quick meal as we have a little time and wanted to support the local business. The lady was so rude and only served us 1 utensil with the wrong order, she looked so angry and suggested us to tip 20% at the end. We couldn’t finished the dish as the rice was too old. We ended up tipped her 15% but it will be the last time I’m here. Came for a good tummy time but left with too much frustration.
