Food 10/10 It's a banger every time. I think the last time I went to Xi'An Famous Foods was four years ago, and I was especially craving it that day. The...

I was a big fan of the spicy cumin lamb burger! It was super flavorful, and I liked the crispy texture of the bun it was in. The lamb wasn't too gamey, yet...

The hype doesn’t lie. I got the Pork Noodles (regular spicy) and Cucumber Salad. Ironically even though the salad is also spicy, the cool temp and natural sweetness of cucumbers was the perfect balance to the noodles. The noodles were SO good - varying width, great chewy texture that only comes with fresh noodles, and well balanced flavor with just enough spice. I enjoy spicy foods and got “Regular” spice level which was just enough to get my nose running but not so spicy that I couldn’t enjoy the food and taste the seasonings. I came here on. Saturday at 3pm so there was no wait to order and received my food quickly. It has scaffolding around the building as of Sept 2023 so it can be easy to miss. Highly recommend overall!

What a gem of a place! Authentic Xian food in Lower Manhattan. No frills effective ordering system. They even have a sign saying No Tipping Please as all their staff are paid decent wages! Now that is refreshing and a first I’ve seen. Price advertised is inclusive of taxes too. Ordered the stewed pork hand noodles (you can see the noodles being expertly made through the glass window). At regular spicy it was spot on for me, with enough heat. Generous amount of tender pork for the price (12.75 all in). Will definitely return to try the others. This is one place I bother to give a review and recommend.

A great hand made noodle restaurant in the financial district. The noodles are excellent, thick & chewy, and the sauce is nicely spicy. Note that the sauce is fairly hot so may not be for everyone. Tofu & meat options. Highly recommended.

This place has been on my radar for some time now. Finally got a chance to try the food today with my homie and man we were both so impressed. We both had the hand pulled noodles with pork and they were delicious. The flavor was out of this world. All of the other reviewers are right this is one of the best spots in Lower Manhattan. I want to go back and try everything else on the menu. The place is small but has a nice charm. There's a nice system in place where you order your food from a kiosk and wait for your number to be called. The staff is very nice. Will definitely be back!

this is the Xi'an Famous Foods! it's pretty amazing. it's nestled on Liberty Place in the financial district of New York City. walking in, you'll notice a brightly lit dining area with a counter in the rear. the order is placed using an electronic menu: you can pay here or at the counter. after your order is placed, a ticket is printed and you wait. while waiting you can't help but notice all the products displayed. all with the famous labels. there also books displayed. I couldn't help but to sneak a peek at what was inside. flipping through pages of beautiful images and images of food. my appetite was building as I turned each page; the smell of the other patrons' food wasn't helping either. I didn't realize but I was so entertained by these things that I was surprised to hear my number being called. My food was ready!! I ordered two types of dumplings: lamb and pork, hand pulled noodles with beef, and a salad. I was blown away. if you're in the area, or you can find others in NYC, please make this a stop for delicious food. you won't regret it.
