Cash is king for these typical Chinese restaurants in chinatown NYC. Hands down one of the best spots!! Wait isn't that long unless you decide to dine in...
2023-10-08 20:10:44I know I'm adding a grain of sand onto a beach here. But this is the best Cantonese food I've ever had. Oh my gosh. I have been eating dog food my entire...
2023-10-04 16:01:45I love Wo Hop! Today, we went to the San Gennaro Feast, but with the lines being as long as they were, we could barely grab a bite! We decided to venture...
2023-09-22 23:38:02Excellent, easy 5 stars. The inside was full when we arrived but they were able to seat us outside immediately. The fried dumplings were some of the best I've had. The broccoli beef and pineapple chicken were both fantastic as well. The meat was all so tender I didn't have to fight with it or pick around anything weird. Service was attentive but not overbearing. If you're looking for good Chinese in the city this is the place to go.
2 weeks agoIt was a good experience. Food was delicious and service was fast. Prices are cheaper than most places in NYC. Sweat and sour chicken, chicken noodle and sasimi chicken was delicious. Also pork fried dumplings and vegetable fried rice was good. Only problem you cannot split the prices with others, its really hard and they only accept cash
a week agoAmericanized Chinese food at it’s finest. There are zero frills. This is a restaurant run by a mainly middle aged male staff. They are efficient boarder if on gruff in how they handle their customers. The spicy cabbage and pork soup may be one of the best soups I have ever had. Get there before 7 to easily be sat. The line was 20 parties deep by 8. Make sure you go to Wo Hop (run out of the basement) not Wo Hop Next Door.
a week agoFamous place in the heart of China town. Tourists and native New Yorkers alike come to eat here and it gives you all the classic Chinese dishes. There’s usually a line to get in but it moves relatively quickly. You walk down a tiny stair case to get inside and be ready to sit in close quarters with other diners. It’s fun though! Very fast and quick service and large portions. I’m always happy when I eat here!
a month agoUsed to come here after clubbing in Manhattan. Brought back a lot of memories. Fresh and super hot Chinese food. So hot was my dish that the tip of my tongue got burnt. That is a good thing, though. They do a lot of business and the food is always fresh and good. The underground floor is so cool. Something about the waiters with the matching blue jackets also makes it cool. Too bad they close at 10 PM. I wanted to go back at 4 AM like I did 20 years ago.
