2023-01-29 16:08:49Very nice small bakery, mostly for take-away although they have a couple of small tables outside. I had a pastry of which I didn't catch the name but that...
2021-10-23 10:02:17Best cinnamon buns I've had in London. Crispy on the top, soft and fluffy inside. Best toasted lightly and eaten warm. We had the original and cardamom. Both were good. It's abit pricey at £3.50 for one. But still worth trying.
a week agoThese buns are simply irresistible. All flavours are nice. It smells amazing too! Especially when the oven is hot, oh my! You can smell it from so far away. No wonder the line is never short. The girls work at this store are exceptionally sweet too. Despite being extremely busy, they are still nice and patient, caring and energetic
2 months agoWe got there around 5PM, and it seemed like they'd already sold out of most things, but we lucked out and grabbed a delicious chocolate bun for £3.50- no wonder they're always sold out! 🤤 The staff was super friendly and quick, and the service was top. You'll find this gem near Chinatown, and my tip is to come early to dodge the queue and get your hands on some of the tastiest treats. They usually have a wide array of bakery goodies to choose from. Definitely a must-visit spot when you're in London.
a month agoThink it’s a little bit hyped. The queue was long but moving quickly. I waited for 15min. I only had the bun a day after (after keeping the buns in fridge), so the taste might have degraded. But in general, I think too much cream is used and the crust was a bit hard. Definitely had better buns elsewhere and they survived fridge way better. If you’re in the area, maybe check it out yourself, but I probably won’t go all the way just testing it out.
2 months agoWe were really excited to try some buns from here having seen the mouthwatering photos online. The shop was clean, the staff were friendly, we went on a Sunday and there was only a short queue. We took advantage of the deal being offered (6 for £18) we had 3 cinnamon and 3 chocolate. They were served/packaged in a well designed box that fitted snuggly for transportation. They did look glossy and photogenic and we were keen to bite into them. Unfortunately, they were on the over-crispy, slightly dark and over done side, so they'd lost the softness that you'd see in the online photos when breaking them open to eat. Personally, I couldn't taste the difference between the two flavours, they were both somewhat dry and bland! This was disappointing because there's something pretty special and comforting about a cinnamon pastry. All in all, for that price, I was underwhelmed. Will I try this brand again? In all honesty, probably not, because there are other places to try first.
