Walked down to this area to try some Asian food and found this Japanese ramen store. Menu is quite simple. The hot ramens come with the option of pork, chicken, or tofu; and the cold noodle as well. The restaurant also offers rice and curry. I tried the chicken Oyako Ramen and it was quite nice. Unlike the other Japanese ramen in London that would be seasoned way too salty and greasy, this one was moderate. My friend and I like the fine noodles and the clean toppings. Staff was smiley when we entered the restaurant. She provided clear information on the seats and the way to order. We didn’t wait for too long before the ramens were ready. It’s partially self service so you need to go get your food at the counter when the buzzer buzzed.

A cozy spot with an incredible ramen broth! Their rice bowls are also very spot on, highly recommend for those craving hot authentic ramen or rice bowls with reasonable price.

My 1st time, I made an effort to have a quick meal at this restaurant. Although, this is self-service. The noodle is super delicious and authentic, with reasonable price. Highly recommended for quick meal. Especially for office workers, students, and people working nearby. Highly recommended ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Despite being in a cost-of-living crisis Yamagoya offers great value, generous portions, great-tasting menu, friendly service! Highly recommended for a day out (so close to Waterloo station) and a good quick meal before you go to the theatre (a few minutes’ walk to Young Vic and Old Vic).
