2023-11-17 07:43:44Great afternoon tea experience. It is quite loud so it may be hard to hear your table at times. Thought that service could be better, but it’s still good. Scones, cakes, and sandwiches were all good. I did see a few tables not finishing their cakes and sandwiches which was a bit surprising…
a week agoI visit today its good wow! The place itself is so clean and comfortable, polite staff every section and This is definitely going to be my place of choice whenever coming back to london🥰👍🏻🫰🏻love to go again and again…🔥🔥 thanks for the services with huge smile. I would say big shout out to them for great services . My server as gone above and beyond to provide me the best services as I was on fasting today and he took the permission from his manager to provide me fruit salad of my choice. Amazing 🤩 🤞🏻👌🏻🪬🧿🫰🏻♥️🙏🏻👍🏻
in the last weekEnjoyed the afternoon tea set at The Wolseley. Service was good although the restaurant was full so it was a bit slow at times in terms of refills of tea and sandwiches. The sandwiches were good, some edges on the bread were slightly dry - perhaps out for too long but the sweets were nice. There were options of egg, pickles and cheese, salmon and cream cheese, coronation chicken to name a few. There was a good mix of fruit and chocolate cakes. The scones were definitely the highlight. They were delicious and fresh and the jam and clotted cream was also wonderful. Priced at £40pp for the non alcoholic option, would recommend for a treat or a special afternoon out in central London
a month agoWonderful early dinner before the theatre. Everything was delicious, with particular highlights the kedgeree and the fishcakes Arlington. Service was impeccable and the elegant dining room put you in the mood for a top class experience. For the quality of the food and the service, not the mention the location, I would say their prices are fair. We can’t wait to return and try the many other things on the menu that sounded delicious. Thank you for the lovely birthday surprise too (pictured here).
3 weeks agoWe had afternoon tea here after being this place being highly rated. The atmosphere is amazing if you’re looking for a posh old school place to have a classic afternoon tea. Was a bit disappointed with the sandwiches and scones. The tea was good but the overall experience was probably not worth 55 pounds for the package with a glass of champagne. I would suggest to look elsewhere for the afternoon tea experience at a better price. They didn’t replenish any of our sweets, sandwiches or scones.
