I am within walking distance from this gem; the food is delicious. It’s a very straight forward menu but the options are surely delicious. I had the pelúa arepa and it was delicious; I was pleasantly surprised with how much meat there was in it. The place itself is low key but don’t let it fool you. Most tables are small or group shared. It seems it’s more of a place for take out. Staff is awesome and they were super attentive. I am guessing that if they are super busy , it changes a bit…when I visited it wasn’t too busy.
a month agoDelicious vegetarian arepas and more! I tried the Domino Arepa and my husband tried the Veggie Seta Arepa. We both loved our choices. Overflowing with ingredients. The tastes are subtle and delicious. We also tried the fried yucca with guasacaca. The yucca was much less greasy than other places we've had it. And the guasacaca (similar to guacamole, but slightly spicier) was a great complement. Seating is at large table in the center or long bars on the sides; no small tables. The chairs don't have high backs, so no place for coats. Wonderful experience, especially with vegetarian items clearly marked on the menu. A new favorite for us!
a month agoI honestly don't know why there isn't a line around the block to get into this place. The over stuffed Areps's are delicious with a light and thin dough and fantastic fillings. The staff are warm and friendly. The space is small but welcoming. Definitely a place to visit.
a month agoStopped here because it looked interesting, came away a big fan. Massive arepas (like my 220 lb self couldn't finish one), and friendly service. Beef was flavorful, cheese awesome. Get the tostones, too...
2 months agoOrdered the After Party arepa and empanadita. Arepa was flavorful and fresh but I did find the maize bread a bit soggy and not as crispy as I would have liked. Empanaditas were tasty and the chicken was surpsingly moist.
