My go to spot for the best tea in the city! Try the Dhudh pathi, rich milk tea with fresh ginger cardamom and cinnamon spice, with a biscuit (or two, they are that good!). The wide assortment of vegetarian hot food bar is so fresh and nutritious. Owners and staff are so courteous and professional. Highly recommend!

Such a great price! Only $9 for this plate of food with 3 choices and rice. Taste great and vegetarian. Not a place to sit in and eat. Better for take out. Small, may miss it while walking past it.

Found this place by researching cheap places to eat in the city before a recent trip. The rest of my family was afraid to try it based on the looks of the outside, but it was some of the most delicious Indian food I've ever had. Price is very reasonable, portions were decent, taste is out of this world! Only a small counter for two people to eat at but there are benches and seats outside nearby not associated with the restaurant. Highly recommend giving this place a try!

An nyc institution!!! Cash only with cheap prices, great portions, and veg friendly! We got a bag of pakoras (so many!!) and split a small rice with two sides. I liked the numbering system to keep things easy and the kind workers. Will surely be back :)

So good! Great vegan & vegetarian options! It was a 10 out of 10! The spinach was great, chickpeas, & lentils with rice! The price was amazing too!
