The poke bowls here are ok - I would say the salmon ikura is probably the best option as the salmon slices are decently thick and fresh vs the chopped...

I came in during lunch hour on Friday and it was quite busy. I was greeted by this young gentlemen at the front of the cashier and he guided me to the menu. I was quite confuse about the menu and he was very kind enough to guide me through every single bowl on the menu. What I was interested the most was the special (Kaisen Chirashi) that they had only for the spring/summer season. The cashier was very patient with me and explained what was in the special bowl which contains Lean tuna, toro tuna, hamachi, ikura, and my favorite Uni. I gave this bowl a try and surprisingly it was very fresh and delicious. The presentation is definitely Instagram worthy. Overall experience, i am very satisfied and will definitely come back. I ordered the Roasted Black Cod. The fish was fresh tasting, had a slight caramelized char on top from roasting, was perfectly cooked and fell apart as I dug in. The cod had a slight sweet taste and balance of savory flavor which was enjoyable. The dish was well presented and they played jazz on the space. Overall it was a great experience

If you ever want a gourmet poke bowl experience, here is the place to get it! This stuff here is seriously good and seriously high quality. You pay a premium over a typical poke bowl place but I think it's worth every penny if you decide you want to splurge a little! If you don't know what to get I would recommend the Chikarashi flight; gives you a small tasting menu of three of their bowls.

finally made it to Chikarashi...for the Dole Whip! located inconspicuously on Canal Street. its interior is very clean and nicely lit. there's seating along the sides of Chikarashi. primarily, known for its Hawaiian poké bowls…also is the closest place to me serving Dole Whip which is a Godsend during the warmer sweatier months of NYC. anyway stopped in for some Dole Whip, which a refreshing pineapple-flavored soft serve dessert that is dairy-free. tastes smooth sweet (but not overly sugary) —it’s basically a cross between soft serve and sorbet. Dole Whip is a pleasant respite from the sweatier days. though Dole Whip tastes best in Disney World, iyktyk staff is pretty curt

I liked the food very much ! I was actually very surprised and was not expecting such a gourmet meal (look at the picture). Fresh and delicious ! The space is not very big but has tables and chairs along the way. It was not crowded and right on Canal Street. They have ice creams and specials… I want to go back for their watermelon sorbet. Now, I was not fully convinced by the service. I don’t want to go to much into details, I just hope it was because the lady who took my order was having a bad day (which happens) but she was almost rude… Curt.
