Finally made it to Davelle without a wait, but on a Friday at 12pm. Expect long waits on the weekend, especially since it's a small, cute cafe with a...

This place is a great restaurant 🍴 and cafe! 🍵 Davelle offers an unique selection of delicious 🤤 drinks 🥤, dishes 🍽️, and desserts! Definitely try their Black Sesame & Cream Cheese Toast! 🧇 They have indoor and outdoor seating 🪑 alongside a take-out 🥡 section to get your order to-go! Staff 👨‍🍳 is friendly and the ambience 🎶 nice! I wish their prices 🏷️ were lower!

Cute, cozy brunch spot with amazing and creative food! The katsu was amazing and their uni pasta was a surprise hit. All the toasts looked so good, we had the sesame and cream cheese. I would recommend sharing dishes as some of the dishes like the uni pasta can get kinda heavy. I would avoid ordering the special drinks. The matcha au lait was way too sweet and the black sesame kinako latte was average. Otherwise, good spot for a brunch with reasonable prices.

This place is the cutest! I don’t know why it took me so long to come here. I ordered the Chicken Katsu Don. The flavors were spot on. I said it tasted like a hug. My brother had one of the curries and raced about it. While enjoying my meal, I watched them prepare items from the toast menu. They’re beautiful and look delicious. I ran out of room but definitely will be going back to try more of the menu! We also tried the matcha and the Kyoto coffee. Both were exceptional. Can’t wait to go back 💕

Davelle has a cute ambience, but the food looks a lot better than it tastes. The chicken katsu curry was pretty good, but the rice was mushy. The berry cream cheese toast was beautiful and actually quite good. I tried my friend’s lemon toast, and it was too dry. The waitresses were quite busy, and it was hard to get their attention. I probably wouldn’t come back again unless someone else really wanted to go.

It’s a cute, hole-in-the-wall kinda place, rustic with minimal to no decor. Service is fast. We ordered the black sesame latte and the vegan matcha latte. Drinks are good — smooth, well-balanced flavors. The drinks were $6.5 and $5.75 for 12 oz which is pricey but normal New York prices. Unfortunately, they had no vegetarian options for the savory foods so we ordered the black sesame cream cheese toast and the berry cream cheese toast. The bread of the first was dry and overtoasted. The berry toast had a bit too much jam for the amount of cream cheese, so was a bit too sweet for my taste. The bread was bland white bread. The toasts are $12 each which is too much for what we got. They do look very aesthetic tho. This place seems to be popular. After we were done with the food, the waitress politely reminded us that there were people waiting. So we felt rushed to finish our drinks quickly. Overall, if I were already in the neighborhood, I would come back for the drinks (probably to go) but not for the food.
