Dine In
Takeout
G Cafe near Elephant & Castle is an amazing cafe. It has a great location and delicious hot drinks too. The staff are really friendly, and welcome you with open arms. Highly recommend this place !!
8 months agoHere’s a quick plug for the Patel family and the G-Cafe on the circle at Elephant and Castle. Homecooked street food from a magical Mumbai cookbook. Teddy and I had to hydrate a bit after dinner, but we won’t forget the hospitality at this wonderful little corner of the world. 10 years running and they are making a go of it. Potato wadas, chicken samosas, and paneer rolls…yum. This was one of the highlights of our trip to London! God willing, we'll see you again.
a month agoNot recommended for coffee, I ordered an Oat Cappuccino and it is by far the worst coffee I ever had. I think I got 90% water, I felt sick after a few sips, I’m usually not picky with coffee, I can tolerate a Pret or Starbucks without complaining and the worst part is I paid £3.25 for basically water.
5 months agothey gave me a sandwich that had expired for two days and I noticed it when I was already on the bus … when I returned to them the lady told me 'you have to check’ and I replied it's your duty to give me something that hasn't expired !! the conclusions are yours! so if you have today's cctv you should also have it on 13/05 when you sold me the expired Sandwich !!! this is all ridiculous!
4 months agoThe food is homemade and deliciously comforting. And the lady is one of the sweetest people I've met. I sincerely recommend her Indian cuisine which is SUPER affordable (takeaway curries at £4.5!). When I was staying in the area, going to see her to chat and grab something to eat definitely became one of the highlights of the day ! 100% recommend her
