Food, atmosphere and staff were fantastic… I think Dill is actually aiming for 2 Michelin Stars right now. the non-5/5 Google Star reviews are a bit dramatic or just old. Especially considering how expensive basic food is in Iceland, I’d say this the best value meal I’ve had here (enjoyment relative to price). Had a fantastic time, a nice personal touch for a birthday surprise, and the deserts in particular were super unique and delicious.
2 months agoMeal was phenomenal, atmosphere was lovely and service was kind. Our favorite meal in Iceland and to celebrate special occasion! Worth every penny and more. Tried the local kombucha too which was really special. The desserts were spectacular, my favorite the parsnip caviar 😍 deserves two stars min and I’ve been to two three stars ⭐️
2 months agoWow, Dill was exactly what we expect when we visit a Michelin starred restaurant. We were greeted as we walked in and the host was very professional seating us, walking us through the expectations of the night and providing drink recommendations. He did a fantastic job recommending some Icelandic spirits to pair with our meal. The food and presentation was brilliant, we loved the incorporation of the hints of nature into our dishes, whether that be presented in a bowl of dried mushrooms or over a rock. The food was all delicious and really gave us a breadth of tastes in Icelandic culture. The timing was perfect, we were never waiting longer than we would expect before the next course appeared in front of us. Our waters were always full and our drinks were always refreshed when we asked. The staff was enthusiastic to tell us about the dishes when they were brought to us and answered all of our questions. We would highly recommend Dill for anyone who values dining as an experience and would like to taste a variety of traditional Icelandic flavors elevated.

3 months agoWe were here in February and it was really good. It was my first time in a Michelin star restaurant and some of it might have stretched my taste buds but it was all a great experience. I would highly recommend the wine package with the food. It complimented the food and just wouldn’t have been the same without it. Shout out to our sommelier, he was awesome. The staff were amazing and I would definitely do it again if I ever get the opportunity.
